How heavy is this glass of water?

A psychologist walked around a room while teaching stress management to an audience. As she raised a glass of water, everyone expected they’d be asked the “half empty or half full” question. Instead, with a smile on her face, she inquired: “How heavy is this glass of water?”

Answers called out ranged from 8 oz. to 20 oz.

She replied, “The absolute weight doesn’t matter. It depends on how long I hold it. If I hold it for a minute, it’s not a problem. If I hold it for an hour, I’ll have an ache in my arm. If I hold it for a day, my arm will feel numb and paralyzed. In each case, the weight of the glass doesn’t change, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes.” She continued, “The stresses and worries in life are like that glass of water. Think about them for a while and nothing happens. Think about them a bit longer and they begin to hurt. And if you think about them all day long, you will feel paralyzed – incapable of doing anything.”

It’s important to remember to let go of your stresses. As early in the evening as you can, put all your burdens down. Don’t carry them through the evening and into the night. Remember to put the glass down!

More Meditation

It's been a little while since my last post... The reason is nothing major happened, I've been focusing lately on doing more meditation, at least 2 times a day. I've discovered Tom Kenyon's work by chance I guess(but I don't believe in chance anymore...) and I was kind of blown away by his voice and his singing...

As soon as I listen to one of his tune, the pressure on my forehead gets activated. So, I've started meditating while listening to his work(with headphones) and also doing the Samuel Sagan's throat friction techniqueI can say that those 2 combined together work pretty good and make meditation a lot more interesting...

I've also received the 2 Dream herb extracts that I've ordered few weeks ago: Calea Zacatechichi and California Poppy. Last night was my second try of those herbs and I have to say that I could recall my dreams very well(I had 3 different dreams) and my sleep was pretty good. One of those dream felt so real upon my awakening that it took me a couple of minutes to realize that it was just a dream...
Is this some kind of placebo effect or it is really working? I think I'll be able to tell after a week or two.

So my focuses right now are on Meditation, Third Eye activation and Dream recall.

The throat friction is a great tool

I have to say that more I practice Samuel Sagan's throat friction' meditation technique, the more I can feel this pressure on my eyebrows...

I've just finished a 40mn session and again I was able to see some shapes that my mind could not make up for sure... but what was strange is that about 10mn in the session, I've felt some heat on my forehead, kind of a burning sensation. This is the first time I feel this kind of heat...
What is it? I really don't know.

On the downside, my dream recall is pretty bad lately again... Why is it that during some periods, I can remember many dreams and during other periods, it's blank in the morning? I just can't figure it out.

Third Eye knowledge

Since I've been feeling those "vibrations" and visions between my eyebrows, I feel that I want to develop more this part. It's such a strange feeling... and more I am thinking during the day about this "pressure" between my eyes, more I can feel it, even whithout meditating. The sensation just shows up...

The more interesting is that I get some very weird "visions" while meditating.  But I have to practice a lot in this field... The intensity of those "visions" can vary each day.

I also want to learn more about this "Third Eye"... Here is the latest book that I'm reading about this subject: The Third Eye by Lobsang Rampa.

Vibrations state

I was saying in an older post that I wasn't feeling any vibrations but I was wrong... I've been reading Samuel Sagan's book and he made me realize that I've been having vibrations since weeks now...

First, this pressure on my forehead between my eyebrows is "vibrations". Second, everytime I'm listening Robert Monroe's Focus 10 CD, I always get this strange feeling on my hands having some kind of a "double layer"...

Those are "vibrations" but I didn't realize before guetting some explanations from Sagan's book. I guess that I was expecting my body shaking in a more agressive way but there are many different levels of vibrations but I was not aware of those before, now I am.

I've also noticed that the level of vibrations can change day by day... even if I repeat the same routine each day. It means that there are some factors physical or mentally which play a role... but I still don't understand those yet. One day, my sensations are just so much stronger than the next...

But at the end, I keep making progress... I think that the next phase that I have to improve is to be able to stay longer in Focus 12.

Dream Herbs?

I keep practicing Samuel Sagan's throat friction technique, I can say that it really works to stimulate quiet fast the pressure between my eyebrows. I keep seeing those shapes, even had some eyes looking straight back at me! Kind of freaky the first time it happened. I don't know what it is... Is it some kind of Astral entity or just my imagination?

Later on today, I will experiment combining Robert Monroe' s Focus 10 CD follow by Samuel Sagan's practical CD 1. The Monroe one really can knock my body out to sleep, so maybe from there, my 3rd eye stimulation will be more intense and I'll be able to reach a deeper Focus 12?

The only negative part of last week has been my dream recall. I could not remember much at all, maybe because of some bad sleeping patterns... I was surfing the net yesterday and I end up ordering some Calea zacatechichi and some California poppyIt might help with my sleeping and my dream recall. I want to give it a try...

The Third Eye

Some big progress tonight... As I said before, I've been feeling since a few weeks some pressure on my forehead (between the eyebrows) when I'm able to reach Focus 10 or deep physical relaxation. I heard before about this "3rd eye" but never really study the subject.

Yesterday, I've find out about this guy specialising in the 3rd eye: Samuel Sagan, so I did some research and I was able to find some MP3 that he made about his meditation's method...

Once in bed, I've listen to his intro CD where he talks about his background and give a lot of explanations. Then, I did his Practical CD 1(which is available on youtube) and all I can say is that session was a really cool ride...

It's not easy to describe what I've felt with words but it put me in a state very similar to the beginning of my Ayahuasca sessions in Peru. At the end of the CD, he is starting to talk and I'm saying to myself: "please, no, no, no, not so fast!" The feeling was so good and it was when I had some visions in many different shapes coming inside my forehead. I'm pretty sure that I've reach Focus 12: I lost all senses of my body and my surrounding, that's when the shapes started to appear and this weird feeling of peace...

This 3rd EYE thing is real! So many people and cultures from the past been talking and writing about it, I believe that Astral Projection is happening through this "eye"...

This 1st session worked pretty well with me because I've been developing whithout realising this pressure on the forehead since a bunch of months with meditation and hemi-syncs. It feels like something wants to come out between the eyebrows, this is a very strange feeling at the beginning but you get used to it.
But, I'm not sure this could work so fast for someone with no prior training in meditation.

It's good because I wasn't making much progress lately. I'm gonna practice more about this 3rd eye and read one of Sagan's book. I'm very impress from last night's outcome. At the end, this all AP thing takes a lot of time and self-determination but I know that it will be worth it...

Today's Quote

Marilyn Monroe
“I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.”
― Marilyn Monroe

keep practicing...

There is one part for sure where I'm guetting better is to be able to reach the state: Mind awake, Body asleep. It takes me about 10-15mn to reach it and each time, I'm able to see some shapes, figures moving around... I also have this pressure on my forehead which I believe is some kind of a door to Astral project.

But I still cannot reach any vibrations or see any tunnel or such... I know I am not far, I can feel it and I need to keep on working.

A good point is that my memory is improving quite fast among my dreams recall. This is due to those memory exercices I've been doing. Also doing concentation exercices which are different and look silly at first but quite useful with time. And of course practicing meditation everyday helps me to clear my mind.
